Pornography Evil?

Here's my view:

1) It's evil if the actors are corerced or forced into it, or are underage.

2) It's not evil if people of the proper age of consent, etc. choose to make it of their own free will.

3) It's not evil to view legal/ethical pornography conforming to the above, but I think that it can become a kind of addiction. I also think that lack of...um, shall we say, "self constraint" in this area can sap men of the motivation to meet and date real women. There are also theories that such activities can be psychospiritually damaging in the sense of screwing up your "chi," life-force, kundalini powers, whatever you want to call it.

I have to agree with Rain on this one. If there was no porn here in Iraq, then maybe troops would go nuts and rape Iraqi ladies regardless of the penalties. Although there are some rules of having porn or inapropriate pics in your laptop, who is going to snitch on you by just having porn to get by the whole year.

Edit: on a side note, Iraqi ladies do get raped over the years but is hardly ever reported and rape does not occur often at all.

I think porn is fine as long as you don't want to watch it more than you want to have sex or do other things. There are some people like that, and that's just not healthy ya know. But all in all I don't see a big problem with it.
