Climate scientists have overlooked a major cause of global warming and cooling, a new study reveals today.
American researchers have discovered that the amount of water high in the atmosphere is far more influential on world temperatures than previously thought.

Water vapour has long been recognised as an important greenhouse gas. Like methane and carbon dioxide, it absorbs heat from the sun that would otherwise be reflected back into space, keeping the planet warm.

And to think, the media would have us believe HUMANS cause the earth to warm, lol.

We started a revolution over taxes on tea, now they want to tax us for the steam. Go figure.
Seriously, since MMGW via CO2 isn't quite going over they have to find a new cause, a new way to continue their worldwide tax scheme.
C'mon folks, we need that one world government! How else are they gonna pay for it?
This is pathetic scrambling so as not to be seen as the bunch of idiots they are. Even when caught red-handed lying they resort to this type of non-sense.

Atmospheric water vapor is the main GHG on this planet.

It is known that in the Troposphere, which is the atmospheric layer closest to the Earth's surface, it is water vapor that causes most of the real greenhouse effect.

It is believed that water vapor contributes in the Troposphere to around 95% - 98% of the REAL greenhouse effect, meanwhile the rest of the ghgs, and including CO2 might contribute around 2% -5%. but this is based on educated guesses, but they keep being GUESSES.

it is also known that 99.999% of water vapor is NATURAL, yet did you know that the EPA has been trying to also label water vapor as a "pollutant"?...

Even a GREEN website has tried to show this fact...

EPA Seeks To Have Water Vapor Classified As A Pollutant

(Washington, DC) The Environmental Protection Agency is seeking to classify water vapor as a pollutant, due to its central role in global warming. Because water vapor is the dominant greenhouse gas in the atmosphere, accounting for at least 90% of the Earth's natural greenhouse effect, its emission during many human activities, such as the burning of fuels, is coming under increasing scrutiny by federal regulators.

Until now, the carbon dioxide produced during the burning of fuels has been the main concern. The extra carbon dioxide causes a manmade enhancement of the greenhouse effect. But water vapor is also produced by combustion of most fuels, as well as by industry and utilities that use water for cooling. The EPA would be able to regulate its manmade sources if it is classified as a pollutant.
.....

www.ecoenquirer.com...

You know why these people want to label water vapor as a pollutant?... Because then they can tax all those hybrids, and hydrogen cars that will be sold to people....

Water vapor, just like CO2 are gases which are needed by nature, and by all life on the planet to thrive... yet some people who are in a power-trip want to have control over all aspects of our lives...

And the thing is that there are people, and even scientists who gleefully want to agree with these taxes, and control because of their proconceived ideas which are based on something that has become a religion for millions... AGW....

If water vapor is the true culprit in GW then it stands to reason that we should be doing far more to preserve the rain forests and reduce desertification in every form. The more water we can capture within the ecosphere the less is in the troposphere.
Don't worry though, they will find a way to tie it in to human activity and get their little tax out of it, isn;t that what we pay them to do?
