I found this site while searching, it seems like nothing more than an advertisememnt for a real-estate company, but when I got to the bottom and read what was there I began to think different.

At first I thought it was asearch engine jumble to produce more net hits, but upon reading the text it seems to go together, instead of being completely random.

Check out this site and see what you think. Is there a hidden message encoded in the texts? If there is I am not the one to decode it, but maybe someone here can.

When you go to the site there are 2 scroll bars on the right side of the window. Use the one on the inside and scroll to the bottom where the writing is and read from there. See what you think and let me know.

Here is the Link

It has to do w/ search rankings and trying to trick Google.

It's a script that just pulls something from random sites, that's why it hardly makes sense. It means he has mass amounts of this same designed page and needed a huge block of text to be different for every page so Google doesn't see it all as duplicate content. If you notice a lot of spam emails do the same thing.

hahaha

It looks like someone hacked the website and wrote a bunch of nonsense.

I have seen things like that before and it was later revealed to be hackers.

Not sure what it is. It appears the text is all out of wack, like the words are not in the right place.

Yeah, it certainly is odd. And I doubt it would be any attempt at search engine optimization because usually it would involve using keywords that relate to the page. Instead, we have some really bizarre text like the exert below:

Sheehan schizophrenic the sembrocation has the dismayed notepad amidst the symbols outside of says polling doctrinality flash burn dissiliency played done with in faithfulness with the symbols.

lol. What does that mean?

There's a lot of stuff in there that seems to refer to the Carter Presidency when he asked to be briefed about UFO's and was refused by then CIA boss George Bush Srn.

Just my 2 cents...

I understand how it looks, but I assure you, it's a tactic for avoiding duplicate content filters. My profession is in Web Marketing, you see this all the time in spam.

Aberinkula is correct - it's a foolish attempt to trick search engines into rating the site higher.

Search engines look for particular keywords in Web pages. Some people tried to trick the engines into ranking them higher, by loading the page with endlessly repeated keywords. Search engines responded by then requiring there to be a certain amount of text on a page. Some lazy folks who can't be bothered to write something, just grab any old text they can find and use it. So far, search engines aren't smart enough to recognize nonsense, but they will be.

I've known Web page authors who have had their entire pages ripped off and used in this way, just posted to fill in text.

When I see something like this, it tells me two important things about the site. First, they don't have something of value to offer, so they have to rely on tricks to boost their rankings. And second, they're dishonest. It's a serious red flag, especially if you're considering using a service or purchasing something from them.

Yes could be. But do you mean that every 'secret message' is generated by that script ? Well then there are no secret messages

BTW:
Google doesnt use keywords as indicator for pagerank. It uses reverse linking.
You dont get a higher pagerank by making a script with weird keywords.

As I said, the random text at the bottom isn't for keywords for ranking, it's bulk text to make MANY similar pages have DIFFERENT random bulk text so that google sees each page as different, even though the first half of the page is the same, the bottom of each page is different, and google sees it as a different page, thus not being duplicated content (which google highly frowns upon).

If you look at the URL, it ends in "index-18.html" Remove that and just go to www.davachirealty.com.... It's the same page, but there's different block of nonsensical random text at the bottom.

In fact it looks to me like they're trying to build ranking and are doing it all the wrong ways. If you look at all the links and words ABOVE the strange texts, it looks like they're trying to use keywords. Not keywords I would use, and that's not how to do it. Looks like they googled "how to rank higher" and only read half the "how to". You're not supposed to backlink on your own page.

index-1.html has a different block of text but same page.
index-2.html has a different block of text but same page.
index-3.html has a different block of text but same page.

You guys understand this yet?

I'm not a DISINFOAGENT(GASP) or anything. If you look around, most of the time I'm agreeing w/ the theories. But something I look at know what it is due to my line of work, I can't just sit here and let you guys think it's something it's not. Deny Ignorance, remember?

Aberinkula is correct. That's exactly what that is. Gibberish to make the page look unique.
