At Last, the FCC has announced new rules designed to prohibit internet service providers from blocking content and free flowofinformation on networks.

see the whole story here: finance.yahoo.com...

Finally the government is taking net neutrality and the equal treatment of bandwidth seriously. I can't wait to hear what the new rules will imply and the impact they will have.

I thought the Fed was suppose to be our enemy and that the government wanted to take over/shut down/limit the internet.

so what's up with this? should new conspiracy theories be created or modified to make this fit with the general consensus that the Fed should be eliminated? or does this mean something sinister is on the works?
