Alexander Bastrykin, head of the Investigative Committee, said in an interview on Wednesday he could not rule out the ship "might have been carrying not only timber".

Adding further intrigue, Russian chief of general staff Nikolai Makarov said on Wednesday the ship would be searched for a possible secret cargo when it returns to Russia next month.

Well they seems to be protraying it as a standard hijacking at the start of the article although the Russians seem to at least take the secret cargo conspiracy claims a little more seriously as they plan to search the ship and state it may not just be timber on board. Still no real answers and as soon as they have it in dock I doubt will hear anything more about it, weapons or not.
