Antikythera clockwork computer may be even older than thought

This is a pretty amazing video of how the Antikythera clockwork computer works, said to be from 2 century BC. Amazing!

Makes you wonder the things we were doing long ago, compared to present things... Isn't it? I guess the Mayans were not the only ones being able to play around with wheels! How old is it? Don't ask me! I am not a specialist nor was i there to tell...

What powered the movements?
Was it spring driven and needed to be wound or something else?

The dials track the dates of the lunar and solar eclipses and even sports games?
the dials don't just turn in one direction they seem to be able to move both clockwise and anti-clockwise.

It does make you wonder what else we were capable of

It is believed that a handle or key was used to manually turn the mechanism. Springs required a metallurgy that was not known at the time [we think.]

The video was hard to make out the number of planets, so, I would assume it only mentions those we typically know of

It's hard to believe they got all of this from studying the x-rays or whatever of what's left of this device. The video dimensions appear to show something with a different dimension or thickness

Wasn't there also some mention of another similar one found also

It's sad to think and somewhat ironic that just this one device has been found. There may be countless others that we're not yet aware of that are hidden from public viewing.

I had seen a documentary of some tomb or small building supposedly built for or by Imhotep, who was supposedly also a great architect and inventor. ( among others) The tomb had supposedly also shown a diagram or carving of DNA. But the tomb is now off limits from public viewing. Anyone else ever seen this documentary?

maybe they really were smarter than we are look at what's survived from antiquity. STONE. They new it would survive, while metals would have long since decayed and rusted. They had the knowledge, maybe even the technology. But chose to work with something that would survive the ages.

The mechanism was metal. Stone is not suitable for such a mechanism.
