Ever wondered how all the money is (re)produced?

Came across this funny video, showing a different take on quantitative easing

It's from a small design firm called “Optix” who were contracted by a German financial service firm called “Bontrust” to help simplify the explanation on how money is “reproduced”.

When the agency came to us with the idea to show the increase of money on the international market in connection with some kind of sexual relation, we were very enthusiastic. No doubt, we had to do this!

The goal was to create a world completely made out of banknotes and explicit characters that stood for themselves.

What in the earth does the video have to do with anything?

In regards to the question, no, I have never really wondered how money is reproduced. Through a printing machine I would guess!
