The average survivalist would be much better off with a couple of goats. More milk, same amount of meat, and they're much hardier and not as care-intensive as cattle. Throw in some geese or chickens with the money you saved by going goat, and you've got a nice setup going


And the milk is better for weaning children onto, much more digestible than cow milk.
And it makes beautiful cheese.
And your goats will eat blackberry bushes and other pests you need trimmed.

Anglo Nubian goats are beautiful, hardy, friendly and give a rich creamy milk.

Needless to say I love goats.
