So...its a study aid. It in no way precedes the bible, it does use the bible as the primary source of its content, but in relation to current times and events. The Watchtower is a tool to help provide the "proper food at the proper time".

Thanks for explaining and for adding a little bit of history.

I wasn’t so much concerned as to who writes the WT magazines but more interested in how it is decided what the content will be, in relation to prophecy. I’m assuming the committee would pray in the Holy Spirit and that in regard to recent events, a consensus would have to be reached, as to how best, it fits biblical prophecy.
