I've been sitting on this for a while, should I bother posting it here or not...

Last month the search giant introduced a new Google Earth feature, Google Sky, which lets you travel the far reaches of the universe, often in startling and beautiful clarity. High-resolution images from NASA's Hubble Space Telescope, the Space Telescope Science Institute, the Sloan Digital Sky Survey, and the Digital Sky Survey Consortium give you incredible close-ups from deep space.

Deep Space? Interesting.

With Google Sky now being online so you do not have to use Google Earth to access the star information I played around with it for a while. (And Stellarium). While I was doing that I found a peculiar anomaly in the data, something that should not be there, certainly not on NASA/ESA SDSS imagery.

From start to finish (recommended background music: 2001 A Space Odyssey Soundtrack the part where they discover the monolith on the Moon)

Location (A) in the Canis Major constellation: Canis Major

Now switch to infrared mode.
Now center the strange blob (B)
Now start zooming in with the blob centered
Center & Zoom until you get an error
Zoom out 3X
Slide down a little, you should see a sort of tunnel with two spike like objects inside (C)
Zoom in until you cannot zoom further
They look like blue Tour Eiffels (D)
Examine the structure of the entire area
Now zoom out until you have the entire blob dead centre in frame again
Now move straight up, can you see it? There is a small blue blob
Center & Zoom (E)

Look familiar? Two similar spikes you just saw in the big blob.

You can even see clear structure.. (F)

For the technology challenged here direct links. (Press F5 to refresh views in between urls)

(E) link

(F) link

Distance from Earth? No idea. Age of images? No idea.
Before you say satellite image "artifact" think about the clear structure to yourself and the maverick spike before you post.

Have fun.

Kinda of insane, They are like littered everwhere if you zoom in enough... Its not like the cheap picture Clips that is randomly put in either, these seemed to be embedded, Hence part of the actual shot.

You guys mean that blue round thingy? It looks exactly like the mirror of a telescope. Some kind of reflection?

Yeah, OP. These have been discussed on other threads.
My first thought was that they are satellites, but a fellow poster suggested that they are the telescopes...
They are indeed littered everywhere in google sky...
Nothing ET, unfortunately (as far as I think).
I wish.

Phage just explained these in another thread:

Its' parts of the telescope and internal reflections. Basically a bad image.

Here's a listing of a lot of the "weirdness" people mistake for actual objects.

Just found this:

looks like a clear glitch

BUT

Let's zoom a little

Can you see it?

And if that is not enough:

Another one in the "gate"

Hm.

Nothing to worry about, just glitches.

As mentioned, this topic has popped up here more then a few times.

To my knowledge it was conformed to be reflections of the insides of the telescope due to the same inner structure being seen "throughout the universe"

Shouldn't these reflections be the same size when taken from Earth?

Just a thought.

A fleet of anomalies with alien markings

I wonder what the story is when you really find something...

Maybe deep space is just a deep void.

Do you really think those are alien markings?!?

I mean deep down after a lot of thought, are they alien markings?
