Hundreds of party-goers were at "College Fest," a block party on East College Avenue in Kent, when police began firing rubber bullets into the crowds.

A small group of us were at work in the Kent State newsroom Saturday night and we noticed a large fire outside. Since we were so close, we scooped everyone. No other outlet was even close. We've been footing calls this weekend from almost every major news outlet and bureau (CNN, MSN, Fox, AP, BBC). We own most of the media from the riots (photos, video) and the media circus has been hungry for images. We've had about 60 thousand hits a day on our Web site: www.kentnewsnet.com...

I have a feeling we'll get a subpoena, too.
