UN says nearly 6,500 civilians dead in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO, Sri Lanka – Indian officials took a demand for an immediate cease-fire in Sri Lanka's civil war to the country's president on Friday as the U.N. reported that nearly 6,500 ethnic Tamil civilians were killed in the last three months.

Concern for the safety of civilians trapped in the ever-shrinking war zone has increased in recent weeks as the government pushed ahead with its offensive to crush the rebels and end the nation's quarter-century civil war.

This is one of the many ongoing forgotten or ignored horror stories going on around the globe. These kinds of conflicts are increasing and becoming even more brutal.

Over 100,000 refugees are being reported as fleeing from the fighting. Around 14,000 civilians have been injured or wounded in the fighting.

At least 50,000 civilians are still trapped in the areas where fighting is still on going.

Politicians are failures in nearly everyway...LTTE is a product of the Indians and India should accept responsibility for insisting that the Tamils should be subjected to the abuse of the Tigers.

When it all goes down, the people you trusted turn out to be the very people that are committing crimes against you.

The LTTE was given the order...Surrender or be Destroyed...what is it that people are not understanding?

Now that the Tamil Tigers are near defeat all the worlds whores are speaking up on their behalf, under the guise of concern for Tamil civilians. If it were me Prabakaran wouldn't even make it to the people's court. Certainly not.

The President of Sri Lanka should take Prabakaran up to Adam's Peak naked and in chains and bring along a small team of hard dicks from his Sri Lanka's special forces, men with fists the size of basketballs, and show that fool that we have an infinite supply of head checks. Take him to court for real.

I'd tape the whole thing and send it to the capitals of the world to let these fool politicians know that its real of this battlefield and you ain't gonna talk your way out of this!! That way in 1000 years when children are taught about the great struggle the Sri Lankan people overcame against Satan, they'll have video footage to show the non-believers.
