Who's afraid of global warming?

www.haaretz.com

The blackboard in Prof. Nir Shaviv's office in the Department of Physics at Hebrew University is covered with equations and graphs. He's hunched over the computer, searching for another illustration, another study that will underscore the subject of our talk: the effect of cosmic rays on the earth's warming.

Shaviv is the preeminent Israeli scholar among a handful throughout the world who believe that human beings are not responsible for global warming. The consequences of global warming were portrayed in Al Gore's successful 2006 film, "An Inconvenient Truth," which presents a frightening scenario to which one can hardly remain indifferent: giant ice caps melting, vast areas of human settlement covered by seas that overflow their banks, fierce hurricanes, new strains of bacteria, plagues and death.

This young scientist has an interesting take on the 'global warming' thing...

It would appear that he is just cynical enough to scratch the veneer off of what typically motivates people, and in this case 'scientists', in their support of various causes.

He makes some astute observations on several levels...

The inability to support a convincing cause-n-effect relationship between the presence of 'rising' CO2 levels and the 'rapid' temperature gains.

The possible perception of a link between periods of increased levels cosmic/sun activity and a defacto increase in the Earth's temperature based on various records.

And lastly (I'm just a little short on time at this moment)...

The hypocrisy of some 'green' folks 'global warming!' 'global warming!' chicken littles are SO concerned about the environment... Yet when you examine in detail their ACTUAL BEHAVIOR are dumping serious amounts of chemicals in their everyday lives.

We'll talk more...

Now cosmic rays, thats getting too close to electrical answers that
the Illuminati avoid and tend to squash.

I'm sure there will be no reference to the non Illuminati discoverer
of the Cosmic particles (sorry not rays).

Care full not to be laughed off the map of science and global warming
he will not mention Tesla. Mostly Tesla's findings were all done with
experiments only he did and no one else. If there are any AC and
resonant frequencies for atmospheric ions I do not think anyone opened
the reference due to a Tesla lock up at Los Alamos.

Kind of amazing when you ACTUALLY THINK about Tesla's contributions to 'civilization'.

Our societies are almost entirely based on Tesla's work!

Yet he is hardly known in the USA...

The REALLY ironic part... Is we only use a TINY TINY portion of his work.

The basic fact that humanitys CO2 output is totally dwarfed by NATURES output...

Psst! Global warming guys... Go look at the output from Africa's ACTIVE volcanoes.

-----------

There simply isn't ANY 'global warming'.

The freeing of some of the ice captured at the poles has made the weather more dynamic... Which actually, in total, makes it COLDER!

Humans are such PRIMITIVE 'thinkers'!

There are SO many paradoxes staring people right in the face...

Like the fact that the '3 laws of thermodynamics' are a whole lot of nonsense (especially No. 2
), because the sense of MATERIALISM that the model is built on...

Simply does NOT exist.

The system is NOT closed.

The Earth is a tiny tiny tiny cog... in a HUGE cosmic machine

It gives rise to ridiculous assertions...

Like the Sun being a thermonuclear device and we are bathing in it's thermal emanations...

The Sun is NOT even the source of the energy.

(It is only a emitter of that energy (and a repository
).

What are you going to do...

When you have a species that when all is said and done...

Believes it is the CENTER of the universe! (read: the ONLY sentient life in all of those Billions and Billions of stars (a la Sagan, who was a fraud
)...

Of course they're going to believe in silly notions like...

Global warming.

My Opinion

Not afraid of the myth of global warming at all.

I don't beleive any of the junk science used to justify the myth.

short post that doesn't add much to the discussion but that's my 2 cents.

Hey.

If you read the article cited... it mentions that the Earth's 'temperature' has risen a staggering .75 degree in the last century.

That would be the last 100 years.

Excuse me? 'Only' a "Handful throughout the World"? What a TON of Garbage. I hardly call Over 650 of the World's Preeminent Scientific Authorities, (Along with Vast Members of Geological Organizations, and Agencies) a "Handful" of Individuals within their Field. This is YET another example of the Media twisting and spinning their Opinion into "Fact".

Quotes on Energy
(like the first one)

Electric power is everywhere present in unlimited quantities and can drive the world's machinery without the need of coal, oil, gas, or any other of the common fuels. -- Nikola Tesla

So have we been enslaved by the General Electric and the bankers of
the Illuminati.

Duh.

Just saw a show on how Los Alamos almost burnt down.
That would take out all of the Tesla documents.

Open the books people or continue to cry at how bad things are.

And exactly how do we know the solar system is heaing up? is it those weather stations that we have scattered about the solar system? That have been recording their temperatures for centuries.

If you think we don'thave enough information to measure CO2 HERE, we have far less information on what is going on in other planets.

You can't have it both ways.
If you think that scientists are wrong enough to get GW wrong, then you can't trust them on this. Can't have it both ways.

This idea is completely unscientific, unfounded, and just plain silly.

And of the "suspected" planets that are heating up, which is only four of them, they each have their own scenarios that can explain their heating. Including their own cycles.

If indeed the Sun was heating up enough to heat up Uranus or Neptune noticeably, which is much farther out, then the Earth would be in far more trouble then it is.

The entire planet would be jerky.

GW is an Illuminati scam that won't find real answers.
They never do.
They funded experts (and Gore) to look at glaciers.
And announced the findings to the world.
And won Illuminati praises and prizes at Illuminati ceremonies.
What happened to all the Antarctic core drillers that might verify
what is being said.
They suddenly disappeared all of a sudden.
Thats because glaciers are more dramatic.
Bingo GW is a fact.
Car and ship and factory systems could have gone electric 100 years ago.
And not with GE and the Tesla patents GE paid for.
There was more.
If you think like this guy, it doesn't matter cause the earth did the GW.
And thus more electrical engineering suppression (Tesla's stated profession)
for another 100 years due to people being fooled by the Illuminati.
Environmentalists have been making laws for their own good but
have never touched the electrical energy solution (due to ignorance
of Tesla and his solutions) to their woes because of the Illuminati
suppression to the solution that would put them out of work, so they
naturally comply. Its all a big fix.

Hey.

Your post isn't that clear...

Would you mind restating your point?

Thanks guy.

In reading your post, I was chuckling about what an astronomer ATS guy I chatted with recently was saying...

The conventional viewpoint among 'mainstream' folks...

Is that there isn't any suppression of technology.

If a guy was to try to document the actual amount of technology that has been suppressed...

The ONLY chance you would have to get the job done...

Would be to list the fields were suppression evidence could NOT be found.

When you scratch the veneer off, it's simply mind-boggling.

People simply CAN NOT imagine the true scope... (And I have a rather large imagination.
)

I don't think people are sentient...

We are only biological consumption units.

The only thing I can think of that if funnier than that...

Is the lack of ability of the 'normal' person to understand 2% of the contents of this thread.

I was puttering around the web for years in emails, web sites until a
board caught my interest. Mostly music and band related topics
until the Tesla topic came up and how so many people liked him
and thought of how great he was.

What the heck, I hadn't thought of Tesla since High School, the
teacher has a conical coil demo, and before that when I asked my
dad who invented radio after he gave me a crystal set.
Dad said Tesla invented the radio and thought how could any one
think of getting voices out of the air. Some how I did go into electrical
engineering and studied many topics enough to know as much as any
one else.

So I decided to see what the net had on Tesla.
A Freedom of Information Act Request on Tesla that showed the
FBI sent all his effects to a deposit center.
That was it except for pages on his tower and car and other suspected
events or inventions.

So that was it for Tesla.
The next thing was UFOs. If UFOs were undisclosed technology
there was only one lead found on the web and in the authors book.
It was back to Tesla again.

Well this time I found out more than a tower, and found some of the
research principles that many true subscribers of Tesla technology adhere
to and not wild propositions.

Unfortunately much of Tesla discoveries is an exact opposite of main science
and this is from the man that invented radio, how can he be
ignored. Well unless much of what we understand is given a complete
rewrite we shall continue not even knowing of the suppression of technology.

global warming
and are now calling it

climate change.

I can certainly see why these knuckleheads wouldn't want to call it 'global warming' and switch to 'climate change'... Cuz the gig is up when Godot fails to make an appearance!

I mean listen to that absolute **** these guys mouth...

news.yahoo.com...

Mass migrations and world wars?

NO really! HOW do these guys keep a straight face when delivering their lines?

Can anyone show me one thing this 'leading' 'expert' says that is in ANY way verifiable?

Talk about your house of predictions...

It's as bad as the 'geneticists' who stated they had DEFINITELY found the genetic cause of autism, 'gene markers'-wise, that occured in a staggering .4% of the sample rate!

I'm NOT making this stuff up!

I would have to admit that I am as scared of global warming as I am of Santa, the tooth fairy and the easter bunny.

I really find it hard to get scared by fiction.

the scariest part of it all is those who blindly agree with it.

"Who's affraid of global warming?"

Not me really, sometimes I can't wait for the Sun to just blow up.

Then I could finally get some sleep.
