I think that speaks for itself really.

And that truth is that you can almost always tell which side is the aggressor, or the oppressor, and which side is the victim, by the overwhelming casualties on the side of the victim.

Ah, so i see you respond to my historical based statements with opinion, derision, and name calling, and nothing to back up any of your points or disprove any of mine. How typical a stance for those with no legs to stand on, clinging to their beliefs only through the power of faith and delusion.
Do you suggest that both sides should have equal number of casualties to make it fair??
As bad as it may sound its a war there, and the more advanced nation will either win and/or have less casualties.
Thats how common sense of war works.

its that i dont believe that hamas is targeting children, no matter what some news report says. If they are, where are all the child casualties of palestinian attacks?? I see none. I see many pictures of children blown apart by israeli bombs, many many. I see pictures of disembodied childrens heads, limbs, torsos, all the time, so i know israel is killing many many children. However, i have yet to see a single picture of a child killed by hamas....not that i dont believe that they may exist....there may be 3 or 4...but certainly not the hundreds dead from american bombs used by zionists. If they are truly targetting children there would be many many more....so I find it repulsive for people to keep trumpeting this propaganda with no evidence to back it up. Its similar to if people were running around yelling "the sky is falling, the sky is falling" and all one has to do is look up to see it is not true, that that person who looks up is rediculed for not believing the press.

Its not that i think they are not capable of it. I think your capable of it. I think im capable of it. All in the right circiumstance. However, i dont see any evidence of this actually having occurred, and for israel to use things like "what they might do in the future" as a reason to be committing those same atrocities against them now, is quite ludicrous.
Further i dont know that my thinking is not independent. I am quite at odds with most of my friends who support israel. However, I have the position of having read the western media, the israeli side, AND the palestinian side, whereas most of my friends, like most americans, only get the western media portrayal. To me, that seems to give me an advantage of information upon which to make my deductions, while my friends are rather led by the nose.
This broader base of knowledge also led me to predict the economic collapse going on now a year and a half ago, where i was soundly rediculed, but which was borne out. It also led me to the strong opinion from the beginning that the war in iraq had nothing to do with freedom, there were no WMD's, and it would be massively expensive and lengthy, and AGAIN i was ridiculed. So, i would venture to say that my judgement (based off of reading multiple news sources, books, articles, not off of any personal superiority or other) has been shown to be a bit more aligned with truth than many of those i debate with.
