i-tunes help

Help me! Just installed i tunes from apple website and the download package was about 60 MB and after installing it along with quick time player I asked the installer to install in D drive and after installation finished I found that in my main C drive the i tunes had taken up 0.3 GB of space. :bnghd:

I found the i tunes fil in D drive but why is the space reduced in C drive.

I want to find out what has happened to the space.

My computer specification is,
Intel Pentium 4-3.06 GHz processor,
1.14 GB DDR2 RAM
160 GB hard disk with partition C-40 GB,D-40 GB,E-19.5 GB,F-19.5 GB,G-31.8 GB.

To be precise the hard disk space was reduced from 33.9 GB to 33.6 GB, but the space in D remains the same.

Please help.

What you asked it to install on the D drive was the user interaction. It still installed the .dll, .cab and other supporting files on the C drive. The music files will probably be stored on your D drive as well.

Programs are designed to install on the core operating system level, which is typically C: or the root. This is so that it can make use of shared dynamic link library (dll) and cabinet (cab) files already installed by the OS or another program. It is just the nature of programming.
