UFO Crash Over Finland

video.google.co.uk

This massive object crashes through the atmosphere above Finland in a fearsome wave of fire & debris. To big for space junk, but possibly a meteor - another possibility is that this is a UFO crash. Evidence of military action against UFOs is apparent on NASA mission STS-48 ( this video also available) and it is possible that a similar event occurred here.

It was a meteor and this news is really, really old. I could try to search from our local library for newspaper archives but I don't want to bother. It was obvious to finnish people from the beginning, so nobody even had to debunk it.

I find it odd.. if it was a meteor.. how come it traveled so slowly?

If it was falling and left a fire trail as long as it had one would think the object would have been traveling a lot faster?

Kind of offtopic but just spotted a very bright object over Finland. I'll check and see if it was satellite.

[Edit]
My position 61º 38' 33.60" N 23º 35' 57.00" E, looking north. No satellites fit the description. Object looked exatly like satellites do but many times brighter and fainted after few seconds. Moving from east to west. Anyone else see it?

Oh no, not this again. Try a search. This vid has been talked about many times on here before.

It's not a meteor. It's the contrail of a jet being lit up by the rising or setting sun. There was also a similar vid from Canada which shows the same thing posted here a few days back.

It's not that hard to see it from time to time for yourself, if you familiarize yourself with local air-routes and find a good vantage point to watch from either at dawn in the Eastern sky or at sunset in the Western sky. I've seen it before for myself a number of times. A little luck, and persistence, and if the conditions are right high up in the atmosphere the contrail will look much like these vids. A pair of binocs will show you that a plane is involved.

some say a comet will fall from the sky
followed by meteor showers and tidal waves
followed by fault lines that cannot sit still
followed by millions of dumbfounded dipchits

.. some say the end is near..
..some say we'll see Armageddon soon..
..certainly hope we will...

I sure could use a vacation from this..

stupid chit..
silly chit..
stupid.. chit..
silly chit..

one great big festering neon distraction..
i've a suggestion to keep you all occupied...

..learn to swim..

moms gonna fix it all soon...
mom's comin round to bring it back the way it all began..
