The Status of 'Writer' Status

Yep, the Writer status is an excellent thing to have, for writing contests, or otherwise.

It is one of those many things I love about ATS in having the ability to share.

Can anyone enlighten me as to how long the writer status lasts?

I was just about to submit a short story and noticed I am no longer a "Writer" and thus cannot do so.
