Global Warming is the greatest fraud of this century. The damage the hysteria has caused and will cause is shamefully overwhelming. This politcal/marketing ploy lacks scientific consesus, yet it is heralded as THE important issue of our times by some. It is about time for people to wake up and see global warming for what it is, a ploy.

And I love how the USA is blamed for GLOBAL warming (see Obama's latest comments in Oregon). They point to our SUVs and our better lifestyles and blame it all on us. Meanwhile, China is building a coal plant a day for the next 10-15 years as they bring their county closer to our standards. And their current coal output's yearly carbon emissions (1 source of their energy mind you) equal 3,000,000,000 Ford Expeditions driving 15,000 miles a year each, AND it is growing at this alarming rate of a plant per day. PLUS, at the end of the 10-15 year period, only half of the country's population will have reliable electricity, meaning more coal plants (or god forbid, cheaper/cleaner/more reliable nuclear power). There are ways to make coal "clean" and thus eliminate the carbon output, but that is costly and makes their coal plants less effecient, hence they have no plans on cleaning their act.

So EVEN IF carbon emissions from buring fossil fuels contributes to global warming (which they don't, at least to the extent is is "accepted"), USA is far less to blame than China. And I didn't even mention how India is nearly as bad as China.

Getting back on topic, people need to look no further than the Sun to see the true cause of fluctuations in temperature. Once people realize that the Sun has far more control over global climate than we could every dream of (save for a nuclear holocaust), the consesus will begin to sway to the side of reason, hopefully.

Yawn. Talk to me when someone credible says something like this. Discovery Institute is nothing more than a paid promoter of alternative "theories" like Intelligent Design. National Post... hah, don't even get me started on those asshats. Nice sources you got there, you sure got me convinced.

How did you figure that one out? The west has been polluting for far longer than the east has. That conclusion was pulled outta your arse wasn't it? Not based on logic thats for sure.... You do know that we have been in a carbon-based economy for several centuries now?

You do know that the global warming proponents will accuse the signers as being paid for by the oil companies whether or not they really are.

Then they will tell you that the debate is over.
