Poll: 70 percent in U.S. say things are going badly

www.cnn.com

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The vast majority of Americans think things are going badly in the country, according to a new poll.

"It's been 16 years since the public gave the country's condition such a bad rating: January 1992, to be precise, in the last year in office of the last president named Bush," CNN pollster Keating Holland said.

So once again, we come to the end of a Bush presidency with 70% of the country unhappy at the way it's been governed.

Isn't the definition of stupidity "doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different outcome"?

And the other 30% either works for the oil industry or isn't paying attention. I would like to see what justification the 30% gives for thinking that things are A-OK.

It depends on whether or not you have a choice, probe.

The sad thing about politics is that because of capitalism, You have to.

If you didn't, you'd be out of office within a week.

It's a hard thing to do - trying to maintain the current situation and trying to improve on it at the same time is really something that needs two pairs of hands.

Of course, if that still doesn't work (and it hasn't), then you should probably think about changing the situation, which in this case is capitalism.

One can't help but ask oneself how long the American Establishment thinks it can get away with passing the buck of capitalist self-destruction between the parties.

I would say it wouldn't be hard to find the 30% that are doing well in this economy. Government Employees, Military, Defense Contractors, Other Government Contractors, DC Callgirls, DC Callboys, DC Luxury Car Dealers, Paper Shredder Dealers, etc.
