Japanese scientists eye new planet

I tried the link but it is saying it is not there anymore.

Global Earth Sky and Microsoft Telescope have both been edited at the coordinates of the Planet X area.
Google just blacks it out but if you punch in these co-ordinates 5 53 27, -6 10 58 you will find a large black area when you zoom in close enough. Then zoom in on the center of the bottom line of the blacked out area. Keep zooming until you spot something unusual, then center on that and zoom. You may have to turn the Sky community tags off.

Microsoft Telescope: At those co-ordinates there is an obvious edit, zoom in very tightly and you'll find a star with a sharp edge and a tail that looks like it has been cut !

Unless it has cleared its neighbourhood of all other bodies, then it can't be defined as a planet - which is why Pluto was demoted.

It would have to be a Plutoid, right?

I think we should call it "the really far out planet no-one needs or will ever visit" and designate it as a natural wonder and ignore it completely, because of all the effect it will have here on Earth.

Strangely, the discovery of a really far-out planet strikes me as totally dull.
