Welcome to the BTS, Pick The Next American Idol Contest.

It's very simple, of the 24 contestants listed below pick the one who you think will be the next American Idol.

You can wait and watch them perform tonight and tomorrow night or go ahead and make your pick now, either way is fine.

Your selections are to be posted in this thread by 8PM est, Thursday February 21st.

Please post carefully, as any posts with "edits" after that date will be disqualified.

Prizes, oh yeah, of course there will be prizes. How about some good ole ATS points, (sorry it's all I got). However there can be more than one winner.

I think this early on, going by just the first impression, i think Amanda, has a very good chance.

I haven't watched this show in some time now. My choice was based solely on her picture. Male in me I guess. They had a write-up about her in the local rag and she's a Houstonian from right down the road. I also found out she had just turned 18. Could have fooled me.
