Ah, in the URL it's everything after the equals sign "=" but before the ampersand "&".

Cheers,

Forget the embed code. Use the URL. Not the url from your browser which sometimes adds funny stuff at the end of the url depending on where you came from or what your looking at. Use the "Url=blahblah" from the info of the video. Sometimes you have to click "more" to see the URL. When you have the url, erase everything in front of (and including) the "v=". You'll now have the video-id. Slap some yvid-tags around that video-id to embed.

[yvid]video-id[/yvid]

All you need to put between the [yvid] tags is the part in Bold.

i.e.
[yvid]Nhj3Z9o6t0g[/yvid]

Which will give you:

Hope this helps

Guys, does anyone know whether the yvid-----/yvid tags are reserved only for embedding YouTube videos? If so, is there any way to embed videos from a different site?

Thanks.

YVID tags are only for videos hosted by Youtube. GVID tags are only for videos hosted by Google. No videos from other sites can be embedded at the moment. If you find a video by using Google's video search, the GVID tags will only work if the video is also hosted by Google.
