turns out that my experiences in this area are on the rare side compared to most people that have taken the survey, meaning more powerful and frequent episodes.

had one when i was high...it was cool

I have yet to have my first OOBE, so I can't really take the survey. Though when I practice sometimes I sense another presence around me, though this does not happen all the time.

I haven't had an OBE yet, still working on my meditation, was just wondering what kind of imagery/method you found was best to achive the OBE? Is there anything that you felt was usefull in starting the OBE? Also, is it durring an OBE when you can chanell? I am very interested in all this stuff.

It happened to me in dream state or sleep like state. This is when it mostly happens to people. Channelling also happens in a somewhat similar state but OBE's and channelling are not normally ocurring at the same time.

I had a NDE thats was out of the body is that close enough?

NDE's are the big OBE experience! Why don't you tell us about it Amuk, they are always very inspiring. I have never had anything close to that and most people likely never will in their lives.

I never been able to pull out that I can remember but have experienced the flying, humm, vibration, the loud bang that seems to shock me awake. No matter how hard I try I always fall asleep, or atleast thats what I can remember.
