European car makers Citroen have apoligized to china for misusing an image of the late chairman Mao Zedong.
This image shows him looking cross-eyed and scowling at a sporty hatchback.
What I found amusing in this, is that this is the story that in Canada so many people use to visualize abstract concepts like success. Just replace
the picture of Mao Zedong with your current employer or neighbour.
The irony is that in this image there not using sex to sell the car; like they do in North America. We know that sex sells, but here the Citroen ad
agency is putting to the test wheter putting others to contempt sells.
This ad gives me the feeling of how having their car automatically gives me the success I've been longing for.
Other feelings provoked is how capitalism is great and communism is bad.
