On his recent state visit to Britain George W Bush met the Queen at Buckingham Palace. He said to her: "As I am the president, I am thinking of
changing the way my great country is referred to. I am thinking of maybe it should be a kingdom."
The Queen replied: "I am very sorry Mr Bush, but in order to be a kingdom, you have to have a king in charge-and you are not a king."
President Bush thought a while and then said: "How about a principality, then?", to which the Queen patiently replied, "Again, to be a principality
you need to be a prince - you are not a prince, Mr Bush.
The president thought long and hard before he said: "How about an empire then?"
The Queen getting a little annoyed by now replied: "Sorry again Mr Bush, but to be an empire you need an emperor in charge - and you are not an
emperor."
And before Dubya could utter another word the Queen said: "If you ask me, Mr. Bush, I think you are just the right man to be the head of a country."
