Have their ever been enlisted pilots in the US Air Force, USMC or Navy?

I know we have enlisted aircrew (ex. crew chiefs, gunners, jumpmasters, etc) but im talking pure pilots.

I'm sorry ChrisF231/i]. I simply do not understand your question as posed.
What do you mean when you say "enlisted"? Perhaps you are intending to say "drafted"? I don't, however, want to put words into your mouth and define your intent.

Perhaps you could try to clarify your question.

I ment enlisted as in ranks (Pvt through Command Sgt Major).

In the US military we have enlisted ranks and officer ranks.

Yes prior to 1957 which was when the last one retired. Enlisted pilots have always been a touchy subject even way back to 1907 in the military and normally they been viewed as a bad thing until times come along and they are needed.

I believe Army helicopter pilots can be enlisted.
