Long Beach, CA Airport Evacuated After Suspicious Device Found in Baggage

LONG BEACH - Long Beach Airport was evacuated after a suspicious device was reported in luggage being screened.

The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department bomb squad was called, and airport operations were halted as the investigation continued, said LBPD spokesman Officer Juan Gomez.

Could this be another dry run fake device, a real threat, or just a mistake?

If it is dangerous, it's great that the screeners were able to find it before it was put onboard a plane.
