Outside Election Oversight-Is It Time?

I read of everyone's concern with the electronic voting machines. I see a lot of threads on voter fraud. I hear a lot of worry about the NWO or some other group manipulating the outcome in '08. So what do we do?

Do we turn to some outside body, that enough people trusted, to come in and oversee the election process here in the US?

Would that be too much of a political slap in the face for Americans?

And if we did go that route, who would we choose and trust?
