I still beg to differ on the balloon theory....

1. the objects would have to be BIG balloons
No, they look bigger because of the zoom.

And we can see small objects at very large distances. I can easily see a human torso 1Km away and, as you can see in the photo bellow, using a 12x optical zoom and a 4x digital zoom, resulting in a combined 48x zoom, something common or even less than most modern video cameras can do, we can see something as thin as a human arm (even in the thumbnail and in the shadow).

2. there are two obects at 3:17 of the video that are at the same altitude going opposite directions??
And how do you know that they are at the same altitude? If they are of the same size, then one of them is closer because it appears slightly larger than the other.

That is one of the reasons I do not dismiss the possibility that they are balloons.

Well, how do you know or consider peoples sight-line & focus characteristics as being same or extremely similar to yours?

I don 't.

The only eye-sight I can spoke off is my own, but I do know that I have an average eye-sight for someone who needs glasses.

And because we are seeing through the video camera and not through the eyes of the person who made the video I provided that picture that shows what a common camera with a 48x zoom can show of some people at a distance of 1 Km.

That does not help much because we do not know (and we do not have any means of knowing) the distance those objects were from the camera, but at least we can have a reference to something at a distance of 1 Km when viewed with a 48x zoom.

I don't vote often as I really don't think enough about some of the really great posts here at Above Top Secret 'cause I'm usually preoccupied with subject matters on this great Site.
Last month I did vote though. This morning I certainly had to.
Wow JohnnyAnonymous, outstanding Post

Rich signed up but is having trouble posting and has asked me to post his email for him.... For those that have just joined the discussion, Rich Giordano of CNUFOS is the original researcher that captured this footage, the following are his words by email:

Johnny,

Great post at ATS. Man that said it all. You need to copy and paste that
with name and place edits. If my fleet is anything mundane it might have
to be papers and not balloons. The funny thing is is that when I first
spotted these objects they looked like huge birds without the wings. And
there were alot fo them! They changed direction, shot up in unison like
nano-technology or something controlling them. It was weird and all
happened in a matter of seconds. This may be the real deal. I tried to
rehash the events a hundred times and I wish I could have tried harder
somehow but I was at an intersection then pulled over still blocking
traffic and never once thought about turning down the radio. I also didn't
act excited because I wasn't sure if this was the real thing (never do)
and if I did act excited people would have thought I was Jeff Woolwine or
some fool working the scene to make it seem more credible when in fact
had no idea what I was taping. You know we can't win either way so I just
documented like many times before. All I know is that it was not normal
and happened extremely fast. You hit all the points in your post so there
isn't much more I can say.

The camera I used has a CCD (3 chip) O.I.S. lens with a horrible stick for
manuel focus which makes it hard to hit the "sweet spot" but I thought I
did relatively well. How can I use a tripod when I am sitting in my car?
If I got out of the car I may have lost these objects and not taped
anything at all. People who do not UFO hunt do not understand how
difficult it is to do what I did that day. As a matter of fact, to my
credit, I did extremely well taping these objects.

It's not what I got on tape which impresses me the most even though it's
incredible. It's what happened before I started taping what impresses me
the most. That's what makes me upset because I can't show everyone how
these objects took off upward and then split into many directions doing
their own thing. I started taping as the stoplight turned green and the
objects "settled" into position. It is here where the objects did their
own thing and I started taping the rest from the side of the road in a
driveway to the shopping center blocking entering traffic.

I understand why some of you would dismiss this as paper, balloons
etc...I can't change your mind. I would hope that with as much debunking
I do on other people's videos and the constant battle I have with other
skywatchers about what's real and what's not that you all would give me
the benefit of the doubt knowing the difference between balloons, paper
or birds. I hate hoaxers, liars and anyone who tries to get away with
balloon footage as genuine UFOs. I talk about it on my radio show each week
causing people to write me and tell me how much they appreciate the job
I've done in calling out the hoaxers for who they are. I am not a hoaxer
but what else can I say? I can see most of you made up your mind and I
can't change it for you.

Know this about me and maybe consider that this is a genuine UFO
sighting.

Johnny, if you could post this for me on ATS that would be great. I
signed up the day after my sighing when it was 3 pages long and still can't
comment on any forum. What else do I need to do to contribute to the
forum? My own topic needs me!

Thank you for your support. What a perfect post.

Rich...

Thanks for posting that footage. I know how hard it is to see these things, let alone catch them on video.

I was not surprised at seeing this and I can say that this will become a more frequent event as 2012 and Planet X draw near.

The majority of the World is in denial, but that is even changing. The only people who will not want this to happen are the ones who will loose their positions of control and power.

I would have loved to see this display. I am watching the skies and have seen things, but haven't been fast enough to get pictures. Nothing as big as your footage, but I live in a remote area where these types of displays are not scheduled.

the footage was well filmed and i have no doubt it was not faked.
About 3 months ago i had very much the same show and was absolutely blown away as i noticed some very bright objects in the afternoon sky.I got my wife out to watch and we both stood there and watched as a larger object appeared to move with purpose and control and also have several smaller objects move in consort. This lasted about 5 mins and my digital camera didnt have the zoom (5mp 4 optical zoom) to capture this event.

And now the main reason for my post.I was absolutely gutted when i eventually had the nerve to take my eyes of the show and use my binos(Pentax 7*50) and it all became pretty clear that it was a plastic shopping bag and some other debris that was milling about in , which i can only assume was some thermal activity.

Up until this point i was certain i was observing something special and had we not had the binoculars we would both have been certain we had observed a UFO fleet.

According to the comments below the video, someone posted that it was radar chaff from some air force training and it was on the local news.

Looks like these orbs are checking out the chem-trails, probably seeing what damages those poisons are doing to the atmosphere.

But, there are other fleet videos that are much better than this one. Nonetheless, good find!

it's kinda funny that I, a relative newbie here, picked up on the comment about chaff and it being in the news below the video on youtube but no one else did. Even after posting it here, still no response. Am I wrong or can ignorance go both ways?
