What in the heck IS this thing?





This is a body of what Dave’s Pawn Shop claims to be a Chupacabras in a display case at the downtown El Paso, Texas shop.

My first thought was similar to some comments I read on the site. It's a mummified bulldog, but damn...is that freaky.

So, what do you think the darn thing is?

I thought the same thing when first galncing; mummified jaguar or dog. But the long fingers are throwing me off.

It looks like an old fashioned pair of brass binoculars next to a rotting banana with teeth and claws. Typical side show fare.

He could have gotten a better one here.
