I finally got around to printing out some of my field manual downloads.
I put em on my thumb drive and printed a bunch from work.
What I did was picked through the ones that applied to me and my climate. I put them in the bottom of my BOB and amazingly they didn't take up much
room. I narrowed down as much as I could and then printed them on both sides to cut down further on volume. I found maybe 6 areas that interested
me. I can always add more as I find them.
I really think this is helpful because when the adrenaline is pumping, you will not be able to focus on every little detail.
Some of the areas I saved were;
shelter building
navigating
water and food procurement
fire and signaling
plants of my area
many levels of tactical stuff including effective weapon making
& lots of other things as well.
