I really feel close to this site and to the members of ATS forum, who share my fascination with conspiracy theories.
This thread is being written to find more about our community, to tighten the bonds between us and to conclude your acievements in conspiracy theorist community.
Id like to ask you to write about your work to tell others the truth.
What are your achievements? Have you written articles? Have you involved people from your surrounding- your family, friends, school or work? How do people react to the theories, how much are they informed, what is their attitude towards conspiracy theory?
I think the replies should be larger than a few lines, perhaps youll use a form of a report?
My next post will be an examle of what you could write yourself.

I myself am from Poland.
It may not be the biggest (but compare it to Germany), richest or the most important country in the world, but the people seem to be very into conspiracy theories. Also, the things that are happening here are NOW in the working: on a small scale.
It is a result of our historical background:
Poland has been a Peoples Republic for 50 years, the totalitarian system made the people live in paranoia, the danger of being arrested, the traitors were everywhere, ready to give you away (usually without a reason) to the militia. The ZOMO could storm in your house and beat you up with police batons.
The incidents of 1989, when the round table was organised and the USSR has fallen, actions of Solidarno earlier were the beginning of a conspiracy most of the Polish are aware of.
Im a member of an intelligent family, my parents aqquintances often had connections with Solidarno or the socialistic government. These people were involved in the conspiracy and today arent hiding their past.
The fall of socialistic system in Poland was actually planned by just a few people, including Adam Michnik. Today he is trying to take complete control over the media- thus control of the public. Once the conspirators were members of the Polish Workers Party or the Secret Police, today they made themselves a reputation of fighters for democracy. This reputation is falling apert, the public is much more aware.
Noone doubs that there is something going on on the top, its a known fact that theres a conspiracy going on though this is never mentioned in the news, and officials, of course deny this is going on.
The whole country is aware of what is happening, they know a conspiracy bigger than they can imagine is taking place, but whats the saddest, but also the oddest, people wont react. Polish are interested in conspiracies, but cant fight them. Seems the polititians achieved their goal: the country has will so week, noone ever will find interest in their skeems.
Thats why among my friends and co-students conspiracy theories are mostly taken seriously and are considered one of the explanations for processes in our country and the world.
Polish attitude to conspiracy theories always helped me to spread information about what I read here.
Whats actually easy to understand, most people dont believe in MJ-12 and other UFO-gov contact conspiracies because of the fact this doesnt really regard them. But they do believe in Echelon and Illuminati conspiracies, also others not including aliens.
Illuminati conspiracies are important to Polish, about 40% of population was against joining the EU (this includes me), because it is believed that the Union is just another masonic attempt to set up total globalisation.
The new word for globalisation: NWO speaks to these people and they are likely to believe that UE is controlled by masons- the Illuminati.
Polish still live in the socialistic paranoia, though now they live in a free country. They still feel watched and insecure, likely to believe that Echelon is observing them. They are, of course, right. Nothing ahanged after the round table and nothing will, they are not free, as we all are- watched and controlled all the time When I tell them that, they believe me.
I know that conspiracy theorists are not always taken serious, but here the situation is a bit different. As for Im new to conspiracy theory I expect that here it will be easier to conduct research.
For now, I havent published much about the conspiracies, if not to say nothing, but for some time Ive been involving others into this. With some success- they are concerned about what I tell them and they treat this seriously. But unfortunetly, I dont know any hardcore conspiracy theorists living in Poland, seems there arent any, though the entire community, by seeing what is going on around it, is likely to believe in what we believe.

My biggest single effort so far has to be Future Shock, right here in this very forum topic...Please forgive me if I decide not to repeat it here...

I'd still like to hear about any comments that support or refute what I wrote there.

Nice thread idea Johnny.
I'm from England and I'm the lead vocalist in a band.
I write about a lot of my theories and hope that if people like the music they will want to know what the words are and what they are about.
I've written a few things on this board, most of them get ignored or ranted at unless someone agrees with me.
Erm yeah, I'd write more but I'm in a bit of a bad mood right now, so I won't, sorry.

Good thread idea though.

Nice Idea this.
I too am from good old blighty.
Made no controbution to these forums really, the odd stupid reply but that's about it. I a firm believer that if everyone on these forums was told the truth that they wouldn't believe it and would say it's a conspiracy

Mind you I do enjoy other none conspiracy type people (friends, family) asking me for the real reason behind what they watch/read about events. This always makes me laaarf because, as I askthem, isn't what you've just watched/read supposed to be the truth? Their reply is usually that same, "we don't believe a word you're telling us we just like to hear your crazy theories"
I don't mind
