remember, though, that the Israel spoken of in the bible isn't the same Israel that we know--that is, the nation decreed by an act of the UN. Israel are the 'elect' not a country as we consider nations today.

Well, I believe that God abandoned Israel in 70 a.d. That was the 'end times'.
The new Israel is the Church, this is the age of the Gentiles
. OF course most Christians dont believe the endtimes have already taken place.
