Hypothetically....if it is found out that Iran is producing weapons grade uranuim...what to all you peace-niks think should be done?

Quote From Article:

The diplomats, who demanded anonymity in exchange for revealing the confidential information, said the findings were preliminary and still had to be confirmed through other lab tests. But they said the density of enrichment appeared to be close to or above the level used to make nuclear warheads.

The anonymity is suspect to me in a story as important as this. Is this just another US clandestine attempt to point an accusatory finger at our next target, giving Bush more reason to fatten Haliburton's pockets again?

Gotta love that Intel: secret, no accountability, and yet powerful enough to wage wars over.

There's no way that this is demonstrable and these diplos only went to a newspaper to talk about it. If it was the case, then the US government would've found out and we'd have missiles screeching over to Tehran right now.

As a peacenik, IF this were to be true, then I would hope either Iran kicks out the IAEA and demands a new investigative team or these supposed "leakers" be found and charged with obstruction. If Im not mistaken the IAEA is supposed to report to the UN and not to the press.
Seems to me someone is looking to sabotage these talks.

Agreed PieMan. This is just way to convenient. This information --- if true --- could have truly cataclysmic consequences. It would seem unlikely in the extreme that given the gravity of the information these 'diplomats' would risk going out-of-protocol and release it publicly. This just doesn't smell right.
