Bush: Diplomacy with Iran just beginning

So, um, what exactly were they doing before this? Sabre rattling? Fear mongering? Threatening?

UNITED NATIONS (CNN) -- President Bush said Friday that diplomatic efforts to persuade Iran to halt its uranium enrichment program are "just beginning" after the U.N. nuclear watchdog agency found Tehran had failed to meet a Security Council deadline....

In its eight-page report to the Security Council, the IAEA said it hasn't found evidence of diversion of nuclear materials but it is not in a position to rule out undeclared activity.

It's gotten to the point that I really feel bad for most Americans, having to deal with the fact that their Prez is such an obvious nincompoop.

Well, seems to me Bush is using the 'diplomacy' tactic, because all his threats seem to do is increase the price of oil, which makes him look bad.

I call it 'perception management', their goals are the same, but the words are softer.
