New Humvee ATS'er wishlist thread

having talked to many returning iraqi vets, i thinkthe problem isn't the vehicle (the humvee does an OUTSTANDING job at what it was designed to do) but the roles the vehicles are being used in. the humvee is a superior replacement for the jeep, but it was never designed to be an armored troop transport. thus it comes up short when put into operation as a Troop Transport Vehicle, go figure. from the info i'v been able to gather, the problem isn't the vehicle but the commanders asking it to doa job it wasn't designed to do.

True that it is well just a jeep. If you wan't something more armored then it shouldn't be a jeep.

But though many modifications adding on armor, enclosing parts of it it could be a improvised APC.

Allready been "threaded".
