My first exposure to this band was just yesterday.
I happened to catch a Music Video while channel surfing.

Intriguing.

Can you say.
Punk meets Speed Metal meets Geddy Lee on a bad hair day.?

Not sure how to categorize it, no need really. It's tight. Thats what matters in this case.

Love or hate. I don't think there would be a middle ground.
It's the Geddy Lee thing again. If you could get past the shock of the voice, you were in for a treat. I was always a Rush fan..So It was Easy for me to like
Coheed and Cambria.

Great Riffs, the percussion, and bass keep it up to speed too!

There are a couple of their music videos on their official website.
www.coheedandcambria.com...
Those are visually interesting as well.
Nice hair dude.

Coheed, and Cambria, sounds like a Law Firm?
Nope, sounds like a band that takes what they do, seriously.

I liked it, so I thought I would share it with you.

I got a chance to see them live a few weeks ago and it was a great show, much better than the live tracks on the bonus Cd that came with thier newest album. I highly reccomend checking out thier live show. Also one guy had a white Gibson EDS12-75, very rush!

el duderino,
Thanks for responding, I thought this thread was going to die a slow death.

So they're pretty good live too huh?
I checked their tour dates..Not coming anywhere near me for a while, it seems.
How was the sound overall..And the lead singers voice?
When I was reading up on them, I read a few things that mentioned
his voice didn't carry as well during live shows.
