Chinese new years was in February.

It is the year of the dog. There is no year of the Iron Dragon.

I'm guessing this is from chain e-mail? I would of trashed it instead of posting it.

There is a Year of the Iron Dragon, but it is in the Tibetan calendar which differs slightly from the Chinese Calendar.
