The wisdom in building a forum for writers within ATS, complete with bells and whistles and full staff support, hardly seems wise or feasible, when there are only about a dozen hardcore supporters of this site's literary facet.

The best way to handle expansion in business is to expand when your capabilities can't keep up with demands, whatever those demands are. This is a case where infrastructure would precede necessity, and that has tanked many a business.

It might be wise to expand as dictated by volume of participation, rather than expand to try and encourage participation.

I think a good first step would be to create the separation between sandbox and Halls of Hallowed Prose.

(Just my suggestion for a title.)

If this becomes a separatist movement for enthused paid up card-carrying members of an exclusive prose forum then we just have a Writers' Bloc.
