Apparently a rather large group of Mexican lawmakers, with President Vicente Fox, are not to pleased with the idea of a Great Wall of China like apperatus along the Mexican/US border. What I am not understanding is why is this not exposed for what it is? Illegal Mexicans make up a large part of the economy in Mexico by sending some $16 billion back home. That's what this is about: Reaping in the benefits while your northern neighbor's tax payers pay the burden.

Funny how they want to go to the UN to bitch about this considering the US owns 1/3 of the UN and will likely be the antagonist in the situation, though I hope not.

Dont worry Mexico. As long as Bush is in office, our borders will be open around the clock with more holes than a swiss chees plant.
