Ode to Artemis, page 1

Forgive my shortcomings, but I must express this as I can.

Artemis

I am speechless.

I find myself at a loss of words.

To describe your Beauty; your Talent!

Me! Without word!

However silly.

It is, truly.

You, Artemis, have never let me down.

You, have never caused me grief.

You, have never cast doubt upon me.

You, my dearest Artemis, I would give the world to.

Knowing full well it would be in good hands.

To you, I deny no single thing in existence.

My dearest Artemis.

Cupid himself is made shy from your prowess with bow and arrow!

You sing songs and tell stories without a single word, for you know silence to be stronger than sound!

Your smile could melt the hearts of the heartless, if they had such one.

I stumble upon myself in attempt to render homage to you.

I am as a child struggling to express himself.

Only you hold this power over me.

Dawn itself holds no such authority over the Sun!

My dear Artemis.

To see you live once more, under a different name is a blessing beyond utterance.

To hear you sing... What can be said of such glory?

None master the bow as you do, nor likely ever will.

Be blessed, and thank you for your sound.

Dearest of all, a Goddess in your own right.

You are a muse among muses.

I could go on till the end of time, and still I would fall short of justice to your greatness.

And so I end my ode thus:
