Ezekiel has a great rendition of UFO's, I'd love to see a sketch from someone that describes them. I've tried to put one together in my head and can't.

A better term or alternative term for that in English idiom would be hyperbole or hyperbolic

such and such is being hyperbolic in his words or message...

I think Europeans are underestimating the UFO situation, everyone thinks it's yet another scifi film
We have already heard this phrase from President Bush senior: "people couldn’t handle it"
