O miłości pisać wiersze,
Kiedy jeszcze, kiedy jeszcze?
O kim wierszyk tu napisać, żeby uśmiech mógł powitać?

O kimś bardzo, bardzo miłym, kto ma w sercu mnóstwo siły!
To o Tobie właśnie mowa, Tobie rzeczę moje słowa!

Twoje myśli są jak diament, gąbką morską szlifowane
W wzorki kwietne układane, cudnie kształty wyrzezbiane

Lśnią jak skrzydła wodnej ważki, cieszą jak przykrótkie fraszki

Kiedy słowa Twoje widzę, w jasnem świetle Twoim ginę
Wnet odchodzą wszystkie troski, tlą się jak drobne błachostki

Ciepłym słowem mnie pocieszasz, żar w serduszku moim wzniecasz

Nie ma piękniejszej osoby, w ramach fora tego doby
I nie chowaj się za murem, gdy tak mówię Tobie czule!
