already hitting, the white rural males are not joining up in near the numbers they used to.

its a big part of the reason nobody is meeting recruitment goals.

The problem isn't that the military is too small, it's still way way too big.

It needs to be cut in half, and then half again.

The problem is the leadership. We continue to keep and promote Generals that haven't won a war in 80 years.

The culture of political yes-men whose only goal is to get promoted is the problem.

I'd fire everyone above the rank of Captain right off the bat, and then do a very thorough review of anyone you want to bring back.

Perfectly stated. The entire federal government should be dramatically reduced in scope and size.
