Explanation: Mistake or not ... youre ignoring the facts that a 'cognitive vaccine' in the real sense is doable!

Personal Disclosure: Which is what the OPer alluded to!

Which makes me think that you are either a shill trying to downplay it or you are scared by the facts of the matter.

Either way, your comments can be rejected ok!

Using words figuratively, that is why the commas are there.

teaching people how to spot misinformation = a "cognitive vaccine".

Not an actual jab.

ETA: an “inoculated” audience = people who have been taught how to spot misinformation.

Still not an actual jab.

Doesn't matter what you think.

You want to make a thread about actual cognitive vaccines knock yourself out.

Either way, your comments can be rejected ok!

So can yours, since you can't get your hands on these techs you claim exist.

Fair enough.

Yeah bro, that diy kit will get you as close to mind controlling people as a model rocket will get you to the moon.

Again ... goodluck sleeping soundly tonight! Muahahahaha!!!

You keep saying that like I actually share your paranoid outlook.

Gotcha so you have given me a cognitive vaccine. Thanks I appreciate that. They could have just said, giving people the proper information holds promise. But hey cognitive vaccine, proper information. They are interchangeable.

But here is a cognitive vaccine for Alzheimer’s disease. So no research into cognitive vaccines are going on. We know that.

Yeah but that is to treat an illness and while, yes, if it ever fell into the hands of Dr. Evil it would be bad, other than a manchurian candidate, what would be the point?

ETA: It reminds me of an observation someone made about the John Wick movies, there can't be as many assassins as the movies show. Seems like 1 out of every 100 people John comes across is an assassin.

A vaccine to help you believe what ever they tell you. How great is that?

The "vaccine" they are referring to has been around since forever - it's called education; teaching people how not to fall for tinfoilhattery and other nonsense they see on social media.

(And I think a few people round here could do with it!)

There already exists a plethora of techniques for mind control, some active, many passive. From subtle effects to full on Manchurian candidates. The fact is everyone has been “programmed” from the day they were born.

This programming/conditioning can be unravelled, but first a person must acknowledge the latter, which many will not. It requires a breakdown of the ego which in all cases is traumatic, that same technique was nefariously used by the CIA in their MKUltra program. It can spontaneously happen in individuals though, and is what spiritualists refer to as the dark night of the soul. Or psychologists call a nervous breakdown. Though there are differences and degrees between such it is generally all within the same ball park.

The sentient part of ourselves, the seat of consciousness, which is often confused with the ego as the two seem to go hand in hand, but is most definitely not the same thing. Can reprogram/reset everything. Mind over matter if you will.

Ha, would that be the Prussian system of education much of the world adopted since it’s inception, the one that teaches us to obey authority unquestionably, listen to the bell and be punctual, gives us the very basics of knowledge so we can be useful idiots within the workforce?

Or are you referring to higher education? Where knowledge is so specialised and compartmentalised, that a person can say be an expert in say the subject of Archaeology, yet so lacking in their knowledge of material science, that they conclude granite was worked with bronze tools simply because they were found on location?

Not that we don’t need education, but we will fair better when we educate ourselves.

No, quite the opposite (I think your thinking of tinfoilhattery there) - it's the one that teaches you to use critical thought, think for yourself, check references and seek other opinions rather than blindly believing everything and anything an anonymous nobody tells you on social media. And double so if it's on ATS!

It's also the one that teaches you that Barnum was absolutely right - and this thread proves it!

I didn't read that they had a literal vaccine,

Research into “cognitive vaccines”

With the new two year turn around on vaccines, it won't be long. It clearly says they are researching it. But what is it vaccinating you from? Independent thought?

Perhaps the use of AI technology nano chips embedded in vaccine….

They were obviously using the terms figuratively.

Funny thing is that here we are with someone taking it literally. Which pretty much proves the point the article was trying to make.

I would agree if was being used figuratively. But I would A) Completely understand if their use of the word vaccine in that context caused confusion, B) Not be surprised if this new way of thinking they talk about DID come eventually from a vaccine.

I think for me, the article highlights the incredible hubris of people who think they are right about everything. In the case of vaccines, they can not possibly have actually researched vaccines thoroughly. Anyone who did would NOT be so confident in their words.

There is a REASON that "anti-vaxxers" have grown so much. The great bulk of "anti-vaxxers" were people who personally experienced, or knew someone who experienced adverse effects from a vaccine. They DID believe. They DID what they were told, and they ended up injured, or unhealthy because of it. Until those creating vaccines and wondering why some people don't accept them decide to LOOK at what has happened to some people, they will remain 'baffled' until they do.
