I'm pretty composed. It's a mixture of curiosity and rejection of your attitude towards it. But since I give you your opinion, you also have to live with the fact that I express mine here.

So to summarize, correct me if I'm wrong:

So you say that one should be quiet when it comes to freedom of expression, but you're going to great lengths to argue against it.

Why? Because you don't have to fear anything here, unlike the real world out there. That's why you're so tough here, just because of that. These are your own words.

And besides, I was pretty friendly and gave you your opinion even if I didn't think it was right myself. Until you drew the victim card, which I'm unfortunately allergic to. But to each their own. I said from the beginning you can do whatever you want. You also harvest the fruits yourself.

You're funny. I've gotten a kick out of you. Such the rhetoric spewing machine. You've hit me at every popular corner.

Arguing over political views isn't really freedom of expression. It never goes anywhere. Just people arguing. Be passionate about your beliefs. Vote. Do marches or whatever is within your rights. The right to remain silent is just one of those rights. That in some cases is very beneficial.

You keep putting words up for me. But no, am not saying don't express yourself.

You can go your way. It's okay. You have my blessing. I'm not gonna do the tough guy slander you personally thing. You can have that. We've disagreed. Thanks for all your time and effort here. You sure did work for it.

To the observer. I didn't come here to insight any of this. All of this went south on me. Know your rights and exercise them all.
Know when to hold em. Know when to fold em.

They don’t care how we vote, because they’ve already shown us they can negate it anyway, and darn, don’t any of oppose the results they cooked up, because you know they can just jail anyone for anything. They proved that with J6. It’s been horrifying to see how far they have taken it. They told us we don’t have our Constitutional right to the redress of grievances.
Christians once hid in the catacombs.
We were reading Ted Cruz’s new book last night. His family experience came right out of the communist revolution in Cuba. I recommend this book to everyone here, in case they thought they were protected revolutionaries.
And by the way, my opinion was very unpopular here when I first gave it. Especially, some tried to tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about, how I don’t know anything about Marxism, etc. The tide has turned even here. I warned years ago about the spread of communism. We can call it whatever we want, communism socialism, globalism, social credit scoring, Agenda 21, corporatism, or any other ism. They just change the names to hide their true intent. Just like the communist revolutionaries in Cuba, they try to make everything sound good, just like ev cars, trying to make their product sound like the best thing ever only to find out that they don’t work in extreme cold temps, they are trying to force it on the populace.
Communism doesn’t work, and it never will.

The solution to this is to overwhelm them with anti-narrative pushback. There is safety in numbers. I made a huge mistake in 2010 in getting off of social media because of the coming social credit system. I was young and dumb and let fear get me.

As long as we keep posting our views in mass numbers, they can't use their social credit system. What they don't tell you is that they need compliance for such a system and running in fear is a form of compliance.

Obviously you shouldn't post things like threats of physical violence against specific people or groups, or the like. But you should definitely post your support for anti-narrative ideas. The more of us there are, the more impossible it is to silence us. Don't let them use fear to take your voice.

I agree with this.

I would like to clarify something, ans this is where I've seen in misunderstood the most.

Being silent in certain times is not fear. This thought is not a thread about fear, nor is any of this driven by fear.
Fear is not my style; at all.

There is a time and a place for everything under the sun.
I time for peace
A time for war
A time for speaking
And a time to be quiet.

To be specific,
I felt, for now, it might be wise to choose words wisely and for several reasons.

One, I see a mass of people gearing themselves emotionally, for war, if they don't get their way.

I do remember Jan 6, and it served no good purpose, in the end.
It cost so much from so many, and is still being dragged out.

I propose here, and the intent of the OP, that we learn from our mistakes. Exercise our rights; fully.
The 5th amendment is a right.
It's a right that is often forgotten about and hardly excercised.

It too, is a useful right we have and it, when used tactfully, is a powerful tool in our arsenal.

And basically that is it. That's what I meant here. Not roll over. Not be cowards. Do no fear. Silence, (in certain times of our lives) is not fear at all. It's wise)

This may not be that exact moment. But there are moments when silence is the best choice.

I just wanted to clarify about the fear suggested.

Thank you for your response and addition to the thought. Spot on.

I am not afraid....
I only fear God. And that is the beginning of wisdom, in my beliefs.

What you say on the internet, your preferences, metadata, search history, what you pay for online, who you communicate with, and what you want to view, is forever.

Any of it can and will be used to incriminate you, should someone so desire.

Edward Snowden wrote a book on it called "Permanent Record".

ok so Silence has its moment. When do you feel this should apply here in ATS? Are there particular topics you had in mind that should be avoided, or where we should "maintain our silence? I am sincere and curious. Obviously we do not broadcast battle plans, except the date of my boxing match with Z dawg of course whenever I get kidnapped by his agents of Democracy and delivered for a Pay Per View bout.

Should we remain silent when criticizing alleged allies when disagreeing with their human rights policies? I would like an example of when this golden silence is best applied in regards to our conspiracy theory discussions.

Yes, you will be judged by every word.

'Judged by who' is the real question.

Watching these buffoons who want Communism, it's clear that they think they will be in charge. Except in Communist Russia, the people who couldn't accomplish much were killed. It was only Political Dissidents who were sent to a Gulag or Siberia. There were millions murdered by the Russians for nothing more than they couldn't or wouldn't work. And millions starved, since they couldn't spend other people's money.

Gee, I wonder what will happen to the people who refuse jobs now? People who can do nothing but smack-talk and complain?

Maybe... the ones speaking out will be judged worthy of remaining and the rest who went along in a stupor or crawled on their knees following their edicts will be found unworthy to remain.
