Looking at her quote, it seems the resentment may have not been calculated accordingly.

Over the past decade the west has had massive influx of immigrants from countries and cultures that traditionally clash with western values.

You know all the debaucherous things we love. Yet our frens from parts unknown tend to bring with them their beliefs/norms/culture instead of assimilating and sometimes they are much less tolerant than we typically are.

Combine this with the fact the west doesn't breed, it seems it could create some lulzy times.

The only thing we know about human history is that we don't know anything about human history because it is always bend, twisted, and manipulated for whatever reason we can never learn from it. Resurgence of archaic ideology is an affect of powers that wish to control your perception.
