COME ON MODS START MODIFYING. This is about British councillors (not MPs) leaving their party, but the post is deteriorating into a Palestine/Israeli tit for tat argument again.

The issue at least for me is that whatever the topic from the OP the message is the same thread after thread. “ do you condemn this or that” and “war crimes” blah blah blah. The other wants to rant for 50 pages about how many people were at a protest. It’s a insult to the community’s intelligence and bodes for poor debate.

Nope. The question comes naturally when members are trying to avoid dealing with the topic of Labour Councillors resign (fact) because they want a party policy that supports ceasefire but they don't get it. But instead trying to shift responsibility to the councillors, the Muslim world, the socialists, and the rest, by blaming everyone and everything.

Peace can be achieved finally with the help of the US, the other Arab countries, and the all other major forces in the area. Two state solution with the process not going to be derailed by either side. Anything else is a cycle of violence and leads nowhere. You know this well I think.

Leave Gandi our of this.

You can say that over and over and all agree, but the other Muslim countries are not going to help, so where do you go now? We now have more proof that Hamas is disguising its HQ as a refugee camp, and have built many military structures under untargetable buildings such as hospitals.

Why do you think the US and other Muslim Countries will not help? They're trying to as it seems and every country wants to see a ceasefire and peace. Earlier today the UAE is willing to take hundreds or even thousands of refugees for example.

There is no military solution to the problem just as discussed in another thread of mine featuring one State Department Official who resigned over the issue of providing arms to foreign countries that slaughter civilians...

He said exactly the same. Only a political solution exists.

I will add that not only he is correct but he seems to be reflecting upon the lessons learnt in Iraq and Afghanistan. Maybe some haven't learnt the lessons well yet but that's another issue.

How was the military solutions in both countries?! Is Afghanistan doing well? 20+ years after do they have Democracy? Are they free from terrorism or maybe the Taliban are still in power? What about Iraq? Are they good?

UAE is a little different but 100s or a few 1000s is nothing, not even a drop in the bucket. It's all a sham for the other countries. West Bank and Gaza are just cannon fodder to use against Israel. Jordan and Egypt are the main players and they have done nothing for many decades. You also need to understand that Muslims are just as happy killing each other as much as Jews, there is little value in life in the ME.

Keep saying that for another 50 years, it hasn't worked. We can go round and round, but Israel has passed the olive branch a number of times and it just ends back where it started. The leaders of Hamas do not want it to end, and that is how it goes over there and in other countries where you have a small group that controls it all. Look at Iran, they really have nothing to fear if they just play nice with the world. No one wants to attack them or do anything but buy their energy, but they need that fear and devils to keep control of the population and so they are the way they are to maintain control. Hamas leaders have billions as the people live in total crap and its Israel to blame.
