The lil leprechaun has quit due to many shifty practices in his watch.
Staff are now celebrating in his departure.
He sacked staff and they were bought back in as agency contractors, giving Qantas big tax breaks.
Selling tickets on cancelled flights.

I’m not celebrating, just stunned that this has all come out in the wash.
It will get ugly, especially with Australian securities and investment corporation.
Especially raising cash to prop up their bottom line which was fraudulently gained for services that were not orovided, and knowing this.
Though not providing cash refunds.
Pretty shifty.

Any ideas on what other allegations are circulating. Though after the spate of emergency landings earlier this year is it all connected skimping maintenance to save cash to boost the bottom line?
So joyce walks away with a bigger payout and share package, on a job well done. Perhaps he instigated this for his own benefit, and now has got caught out.

I hope that it does not impact operational staff, and become another Ansett.
And see many lose their jobs. I worked with many experienced Ansett staff, in call centre jobs really great people who were still passionate for Ansett.
Though knew there was no one to rescue the company.
I hope the refusal of allowing Qatar doesn’t come back to bite should Qantas go under.
As flights would be limited for a long time and ticket prices will be sky high due to limited availability.
