The wind kisses me as it passes.
Seduces me with its cool caresses.
Whispering lovely things in my ear,
Soft quiet secrets no other can hear.
The river skips over well worn runes,
Which play a warm and sunny tune.
A melodious sound that can only be heard,
When you escape from the human world.
The trees shelter me from the day,
And as the wind dances, so do they.
Shaking their leaves so I can hear,
The sacred knowledge they've kept for years.
The clouds pepper the summer sky,
Soft pillows pleasing to the minds eye.
Perfectly placed upon the canvass,
Meant to mesmerize or enchant us.
The human lays face up on the grass,
Watching as the puffy clouds pass,
Listening to the wind and the trees,
Then falling asleep, free of worries.
Really? 'Blows seeds of love in to your hair'?
Are you that much into blend, or what is this?
I mean poetry is all about expression of feeling and desires but that seems a little on the face, or on the nose.
I gave a you star! Thank you kindly! I remember once when you told me that you are a professional poet. I think you should write a poem! It will be
amazing!
I'm very sure I've never said that. And if I did it was probably a joke.
You could just own what you did, you know?
Because your attempt to deflect comes across a little desperate.
